Students engage with course materials, lessons, and learning activities through Google Classroom while attending required in-person laboratory and supervised clinical sessions to develop hands-on patient care skills.
The curriculum covers essential nursing assistant competencies, including communication, infection control, patient safety, resident rights, promoting independence, and the 21 skills mandated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
